Due to a rapid increase in the number of vehicles, the need for parking spaces is high. It is important to park the cars in small space to avoid traffic congestion and use a parking area efficiently. Traditional parking system uses more area and cannot park more cars. An approach to park the cars in multi-level floors in the respective slot. This approach uses sensors to detect the slot available and Stepper motors to park in/out the cars. The main target is to park in and out the cars to various slots in different floors, which can be integrated into the real life in the large scale implementation of this approach. The system is one of the important aspects in electronics control module in automobile application. The main aim is to control the stepper motor via motor driver to drive the elevator with good performance, stable and smooth condition with the help of lead Screw. The system consists of four floors with ground floor as control unit and parking in and out is done on other three floors. The system uses three stepper motor along with its motor driver to have three modes of movement one vertical, rotational and other for slider to pick and drop the car. The keypad gives input to the micro controller for selecting the desired slot on the floor. The availability of the empty slot is displayed on the LCD or in the serial monitor and it keeps on updating.
