摘要
Fluorinated cyclotriphosphazene is selected as a novel flame-retarding additive in the electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries. The effect of the phosphazenes on the thermal stability of LiCoO2 cathode has been investigated by the thermal analyses on charged LiCoO2 electrodes in the presence of the electrolyte with or without the additives. Possible mechanism for the influence of the additive on the thermal stability of LiCoO2 has been proposed.
