Research on Drought Forecasting in North of the Yangtze River in Anhui

Based on the observation data of soil humidity and meteorological data during 1990 to 2001,drought forecasting models in different climate zones was established by stepwise regression analysis in north of the Yangtze River in Anhui.The result showed each model can be used to forecast drought,when the models were applied in typical drought period.
