摘要
For the first time, a crystal of cobalt (II) chloride hexahydrate has been obtained, the size and quality of which have made it possible to study its faceting and spectral characteristics. The temperature dependence of the cobalt chloride solubility has been determined in the temperature range 29–44 °C. The temperature range of the transition area of change in the composition of equilibrium crystalline hydrates of cobalt chloride from CoCl2·6H2O to CoCl2·2H2O has been established. A CoCl2·6H2O crystal has been grown from a water solution, and its main transmission bands in the wavelength range of λ = 200–1400 nm and thermal stability have been estimated.
