Lithium Metal Batteries In article number 2202206, Jianan Wang, Wei Yan, and co-workers discuss the intractable and uncontrollable safety issues, like thermal runaway and dendrite growth (represented by the erupting volcano and rugged terrain) in the operation of lithium metal batteries (LMBs). The presented thermally stable and dendrite-resistant separators (represented by the road) provide a safe choice for LMBs to operate under extreme conditions.
