摘要
Two new minor compounds, 1,6-dihydroxy-3-methyl-xanthone-8-acid-1-O-ß-D-glucopyranoside (1) and 1,6-dihydroxy-3-methyl-xanthone-8-acid-1-O-ß-D-glucopyranosyl (1 6) ß-D-glucopyra-noside (2) isolated from Ventilago leiocarpa Benth., have been assessed for inhibitory effect on the growth of human cancer cell line K562 in vitro by colorimetric assay utilizing methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences (IR, UV, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 13C-1HCOSY and HMBC).
