摘要
Objective
To research, develop and verify of a simple screening path for 4-6 year old children′s sensory integration.
Methods
Nine hundred and thirty-six children aged 4-6 years were investigated by stratified cluster random sampling from October to November of 2017, of whom 476 were boys and 460 were girls.A sensory integration rating scale (Children′s Edition) was used to assess the sensory integration ability, and the main entry construction profile screening scale was extracted according to the factor analysis, and the critical value was determined in combination with the area under the subject operating characteristic curve(ROC), the reliability, validity, sensitivity and specificity were evaluated.
Results
The sensory integration disorder rate of 4-6 year old children was 47.76%, and the 14 main factors were extracted by factor analysis, and the cumulative contribution rate was 75.052%.After the maximal orthogonal rotation of variance, the items with factor load matrix coefficient ≥0.75 were selected to construct the simple sensory integration screening scale, which were simplified to 2 classification options from 13 items in the original table.The sensitivity of the simple screening scale was 82.77%, and the specificity was 80.16%, and the area under the ROC curve was 0.815.The correlation coefficients of vestibular balance, proprioception, tactile sensation, visual smoothness and auditory recognition with the summary table were 0.793, 0.372, 0.699, 0.604, 0.482, respectively(all P=0.000). The Kappa of the summary tables and generad table was 0.628 (P=0.000). The Cronbach′s Alpha of the summary table was 0.767.
Conclusions
The simple screening scale simplifies the sensory integration rating scale into several main items, which is simple to operate and can be used as a primary screening method for sensory integration disorder.
