摘要
Purpose : It is difficult to explain the classification of public buildings only by the use classification system, and the nature of the public buildings is also defined unclearly or mixed. The purpose of this study is to clarify the theoretical definitions and concepts of public buildings and to provide the basis of basic theories that can be applied to the research and design of public buildings in the future. Method : First, the essential concept of public buildings is established and shaped, and then it is compared and analyzed with the definition of public buildings abroad. Therefore, the definition of public buildings is objectively verified. Next, we refer to the design method and design review guideline of the Public Procurement Service, which supervises the expert consultation and the design and construction of domestic public buildings, as a means of verifying representative characteristics of public buildings. Result : The characteristics of public buildings should be classified into 6 representative attributes by reference to public building design guidelines. Therefore, the correlation model is established by examining the correlations between the characteristics of the public architecture types and the properties. It can be used as reference material for future optimization of public buildings and efficient design.
