Perioperative nsaids do not increase the rate of post-operative pancreatic fistula after pancreatectomy

Background: Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols are becoming increasingly common, and as a result, the use of opioid sparing medications, such as NSAIDs, are increasing in the postoperative period. There is limited data on the effect of NSAIDs on post-operative pancreatic fistula (POPF) following pancreas resection.
