The technique was accurate and reflected the interaction between bladder and urethral sphincters under physiologic conditions. Simultaneous cystosphincterometry with the membrane catheter was clinically superior to carbon dioxide urodynamics and offered a method of quantitating detrusor/sphincter dyssynergia. © 1980 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited byAnderson R (2018) Urodynamic Patterns after Acute Spinal Cord Injury: Association with Bladder Trabeculation in Male PatientsJournal of Urology, VOL. 129, NO. 4, (777-779), Online publication date: 1-Apr-1983.McGuire E (2018) Editorial CommentJournal of Urology, VOL. 129, NO. 4, (779-779), Online publication date: 1-Apr-1983.Karol J and Anderson R (2018) Neuropharmacologic Evaluation in Spinal Cord Injury Patients Using Membrane Catheter CystosphincterometryJournal of Urology, VOL. 124, NO. 3, (395-396), Online publication date: 1-Sep-1980.
