Objective To probe into the relationship between class environment and learning burnout among middle school students and its effect.Method A survey of middle school students was conducted using questionnaire adolescent students' learning burnout scale and my class.Results Differences in learning burnout of middle school students among different class environments were statistically significant(p0.01).Four aspects of the class environment,namely,teacher-student relationship,peer relationship,order and discipline,and competition were negatively correlated with academic alienation,lack of personal accomplishment and learning burnout,and learning load was positive correlated with physical and mental exhaustion and learning burnout.Learning load was an effective positive predictor of physical and mental exhaustion,academic alienation and learning burnout;peer relationship and competition were effective negative predictors of academic alienation,lack of personal accomplishment and learning burnout;order and discipline was an effective negative predictor of physical and mental exhaustion;teacher-student relationship was an effective negative predictor of lack of personal accomplishment;all above were statistically significant(p0.05 or p0.01).Conclusion The class environment felt by middle school students is an important influencing factor of the learning burnout.
