Study on the factors affecting parallel hole cut blasting

The influence of the blast hole depth the hole spacing the diameter of empty hole and the other factors on the parallel hole cut blasting and the function of the empty hole in the parallel hole cut was analyzed quantitatively． The research result shows that when the hole depth increases by every 1 m the area of the empty holes corresponding to every charged hole should increase by 3 ％ ～ 6 ％ which is identical with the fact in the engineering practice．
