摘要
First-principle was performed to study the thermoelectric property of Si and SiGe alloy and analyze their transport properties at 300 K.It was found that the widely used semiconductor,Si,which has high thermoelectric power factor S2σ is not a good thermoelectric material because its high thermal conductivity.The thermal conductivity of SiGe alloy is much lower than Si,though its electric conductivity will reduce slightly,we can obtain a higher figure of merit ZT from SiGe alloy.In addition,the figure of merit ZT will vary with the content of Ge in SiGe alloy.
