Effect of Aluminum Sulfate on Chemical Characteristics of Soda Alkali-Saline Soil and Rice Yield

When weight fraction of aluminum sulfate was increased from 0% to 0.6%,pH value declined from 10.2 to 8.2 in the balanced solution of soda alkali-saline soil.When weight fraction of aluminum sulfate varied from 0.6% to 2.0%,pH only declined by 0.55,assuming a slow drop tendency.Pot experiment indicated that with the increase of aluminum sulfate amount,content of CO_3~(2-) and HCO_3~-declined,content of SO_4~(2-) improved when added aluminum sulfate varying from 0% to 0.4%,but content of SO_4~(2-) declined when added aluminum sulfate varying from 0.5% to 0.6%,soil salinity composition remarkably changed,soda tapes → soda-sulfate tapes → sulfate tapes.Exchangeable Na~+ content and ESP were in significantly negative correlation(r=0.995 8,r=0.995 4)with the increase of aluminum sulfate addition.In paddy rice output constitution,effective tillers and 1 000-grain weight increased with the increase of aluminum sulfate addition,the highest yield of rice was(6 000 kg/hm~(2)),41.67%～66.67% higher than that of the control.
