Key Points The DMP‐1 study examined women in the United States who were counseled regarding the use of SERMs as part of their regular care. Patient perceptions regarding drug‐based therapy played an important role in the choice of therapy. The findings suggest that HCPs should not only present medical information, but also communicate with patients regarding their beliefs and experiences.
