These PtRuP2 nanotubes have been employed as remarkably efficient and durable cathode catalysts in anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers (AEMWEs). The atomically localized metal-centers maximize synergistic interactions, effectively addressing the challenging kinetics of the non-acidic hydrogen evolution reaction, thereby promoting the commercialization of AEMWEs.
