摘要
The municipal solid waste gasification model integrated with high- and low-temperature shift reactors and hydrogen purification system has been developed through Aspen Plus. The performance analysis was done to study the impact of steam and air mix as gasification medium as well as the air alone as medium. For which, temperatures and ratio of steam to MSW were varied to explore impacts. Thus, the air and steam mix operating mediums give a greater yield of hydrogen. Also, the hydrogen production efficiency is maximum at 800°C. The ratio of steam to MSW (RSM) which favors the hydrogen yield lies in range of 0.7 to 0.8.
