Although the training dataset is limited only to the zone of overlap of the above two different acquisitions, the result shows that we can use the mapping to make image translations, which can improve the resolution and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the whole original OBC image volume. Furthermore, the probabilistic layers of the network can provide model uncertainty analysis. We demonstrate the training process and application with a field example. Keywords: generative adversarial network, resolution, image translationPermalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/image2022-3745382.1FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Second International Meeting for Applied Geoscience & EnergyISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2022 Pages: 3694 publication data© 2022 Published in electronic format with permission by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum GeologistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished Online: 15 Aug 2022 CITATION INFORMATION Xiaolei Song, Muhong Zhou, Petr Jilek, Rodney Johnston, Sean Cardinez, and Kareem Vincent, (2022), "Seismic Image-to-image translation using a conditional GAN with Bayesian inference," SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts : 1654-1658. https://doi.org/10.1190/image2022-3745382.1 Plain-Language Summary Keywordsgenerative adversarial networkresolutionimage translationPDF DownloadLoading ...
