In order to better meet the user’s needs for the appearance, function and humanized experience of the temperature screening instrument, a design analysis method combining the emotional theory with the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation was proposed, and the objectivity and effectiveness of the method in the design process were verified by a practical project. Taking the design practice of the body temperature filter with plate appearance as an example, the user demand index is analyzed by the emotional design theory, and the emotional analysis model of the body temperature filter is established by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Qualitative and quantitative analysis were combined to obtain the weight value of the design indicators at each level, and then the comprehensive ranking was carried out. The high weight index items were selected to guide the final design scheme. The fuzzy evaluation method is used to compare and analyze the design scheme with the existing products to verify the validity of the results. In the design practice of the plate temperature screening instrument, the user’s recognition degree of the design case influencing experience is significantly higher than that of the existing products, which indicates that this method is effective and provides reference for the design and development of the temperature screening instrument products.
