摘要
The optimum design of the SnO 2 /n + -p Si heteroface solar cell is systematically investigated and substantial improvements in energy conversion efficiency are reported. Cells were fabricated by the paint-on-diffusant method for the junction formation and CVD method for the SnO 2 film deposition. Fabrication processes are much simpler and this solar cell has much higher conversion efficiency than ordinary p-n homojunction solar cells. Efficiency of 14.0% has been obtained for 1×1 cm 2 cell under 72 mW/cm 2 sunlight.
