Composite silicone rubber with good thermal conductivity as elastomeric thermal pads for heat dissipation was prepared using Al2O3 or BN fillers.The examinations of thermal conductivity,coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE) and heat stability of composites indicate that the addition of filler in silicone rubber increases the thermal conductivity,improves heat stability,while,reduces the CTE.The Agari model was employed to analyze the influence of fillers on the formation of conductive chains.Furthermore,hybrid Al2O3 and BN filler is advantageous over single filler for improving thermal conductivity of composites.
