In this paper, a 30° gain suppression vertical-polarized (VP) antenna with a 2×3 MIMO system is proposed for the 5G indoor applications. In order to suppress radiation when $\theta$=30° and increase gain on horizontal plane, three 45° single-polarized antenna elements are assembled to provide an omnidirectional radiation pattern. A magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna element is excited by a single $\Gamma$-shaped strip. Owning to the good characteristics of the antenna element, wide bandwidth and high gain have been obtained. The antenna element can provide an impedance bandwidth of 90.4% (2.0–5.3 GHz), with a stable gain of $6.0 \pm 2.2$ dBi. When $\theta$=30°, the gain is $- 2.0 \pm 4.0$ dBi. The entire volume of the antenna is $52 \times 52 \times 70$ mm 3 . With the aforementioned traits, the antenna is well suitable for sub-6 GHz applications.
