Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA), a widely used brominated flame retardant in electronics manufacturing, has caused global contamination due to improper e-waste disposal. Its persistence, bioaccumulation, and potential carcinogenicity drive studies of its transformation and underlying (a)biotic interactions.
