Research on the effect of soaking the bacteria Basillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp. on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.). The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of soaking onion seeds with rhizobacteria Basillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp. on the growth and yield of shallots. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The results showed that the treatment of soaking shallot seeds with Basillus sp. and Pseudomonas sp. on all growth parameters and yields of shallots showed that soaking with these rhizobacteria had no significant effect (P > 0.05) on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight and oven-dry weight of tubers; significant effect (P < 0.05) on the number of tubers, and a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the growth rate of onion shoots, root length, and fresh root weight. Treatment of Bacillus 4 (BS4) gave the highest average number of bulbs (5.6 units) and fresh weight of shallots (20.34 g) compared to the soaking treatment with other rhizobacteria and controls.
