Lasers represent a major innovation in the treatment of all types of scars. Treating scars is a multimodal and multispecialty endeavor. This article highlights the use of many therapies to treat scars and scar symptoms including pruritus, pain, and range of motion. This also highlights key literature including multiple recent consensus guidelines in treating scars.
