Keplerate-type polyoxometalate {Mo72Fe30} nanoparticle anodes for high-energy lithium-ion batteries

{Mo72Fe30} as an anode for lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 1250 mA h g⁻¹, 92% retention up to the 100^th cycle, an excellent rate performance (868 mA h g⁻¹ at 2 A g⁻¹), and a high energy density of 258 W h kg⁻¹ was studied by in operando measurements.
