Comfortable skin sunscreens based on waterborne cross-linkable polydimethylsiloxane coatings

New PDMS-based sunscreens can be cross-linked to form elastic UV-shielding films, exhibiting an excellent UV-shielding capability, a mechanical performance analogous to human skin, high transparency, excellent breathability and a non-greasy surface.
