摘要
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a common central nervous system inflammatory demyelinating autoimmune disease, with lesions involving cerebral cortex, subcortical white matter, brain stem, cerebellum, optic nerve and spinal cord. The exact etiology and pathogenesis of this disease are still unclear. It has been previously believed that T-cell-mediated cellular immunity is the main pathogenesis of MS. In recent years, more and more evidences have shown that B cells and their mediated humoral immunity also play important roles in the pathogenesis of MS. This paper summarizes the research progress of different T cells, B cells and related cytokines involved in the pathogenesis of MS, in order to further understand the pathogenesis of MS immunology.
