Objective To investigate the influence of Normal Limb Position on effect of extremity rehabilitation in poststroke hemiplegia patients Methods One hundred and six acute stroke patients were divided randomly into recuperative therapy group(n = 53) and control group(n = 53).Therapy group was treated with Normal Limb Position rehabilitation as well as medication.Control group was treated with medication and functional position.Patients were evaluated by the Brunnstrom scale scores and Barthel Index before and 1 month after treatment Results After treatment,the Brunnstrom scale scores and Barthel Index had significantdifference between the therapy group and the control group(P 0.01).Conclusions The early adoption of Normal Limb Position can improve the effect of extremity rehabilitation in poststroke hemiplegia patients.
