Superplasticizers: properties and applications in concrete

The preparation of this book was undertaken with the aim of integrating the chemistry and application of concrete superplasticizers, in a way, it is hoped, that will be relevant to conrete engineers and technologists, and useful to researchers and students. The book is divided into 14 chapters. Each chapter contains a list of important references that should serve as a useful guide to obtain further information. The first chapter, an introduction to concrete science, is included to describe the most recent concepts so that the informatin presented in subsequent chapters can be easily followed and appreciated.
