摘要
In the following work, Silvaco ATLAS TCAD is used to simulate, and optimize the performance of a bulk heterojunction organic solar cell for thickness of the active layer, work, functions of the electrodes and, QE-exciton. The results from the simulations have been tallied to the, experimental data from other literary, sources. Key solar cell parameters like open circuit voltage, short circuit current, fill factor and conversion efficiency are extracted from the simulated I–V characteristics to, finally suggest a practical high efficiency model of an organic solar, cell.
