Introduction: Caring for persons with heart failure (HF) is demanding and stressful, and may affect sleep quality of family caregivers (FCGs). Although FGCs report sleep disturbances, little is known about factors associated with sleep quality of FCGs of persons with HF. The purpose of this study was to examine the sleep quality of FCGs of persons with HF and associated sociodemographic, clinical and FCG stress factors. Methods: Baseline data from a family caregiver intervention study were used.
