The spectrum of IrC in the region 4800 – 5300Å

The spectrum of the IrC molecule was photographed in the region 4800 – 5300Å. Four red-degraded bands were detected and analyzed. They seem to belong to two systems with the same lower state. The following constants were derived for the lowest state: ΔG″12 = 1051 cm−1, B″o = 0.5251 cm−1.
