摘要
Adsorption cooling systems using water as the working fluid could minimize environmental problems associated with current automobile air conditioning systems. The exhaust heat could be used to provide the thermal energy input to the system. A number of problems have to be addressed, including adsorbent design and bed configurations. Techniques which might be used to achieve performance targets are discussed.
