摘要
Layered double hydroixdes (LDHs) refer to a series of supramolecular hydrotalcite materials intercalated and assembled on the basis of two or more kinds of metal element hydroxides. LDHs are a nonprecious metal material with high electrochemical activity, which has been widely used in water electrolysis, fuel cells, and supercapacitors. LDHs can also be used as a promising visible photocatalytic material for environmental pollutant degradation and green energy preparation. LDHs have become a hot material in the field of energy and environment research because of its excellent characteristics, convenient synthesis, simple structure regulation, and easy to be combined with other materials. In this chapter, the structural features, preparation methods, energy and environmental applications, and typical case analysis of nanolayered double hydroxides are briefly analyzed and summarized.
