Single-atom catalysts have attracted tremendous research interest recent years in energy conversion and storage fields due to their maximum atom utilization efficiency, remarkable catalytic activity and superior reaction selectivity.p-block elements demonstrate specific advantages as the active single-atom sites in single-atom catalysts owing to their unique physical and chemical properties.In this review, we comprehensively summarize recent progress of p-block single-atom catalysts, including different types of support materials for pblock single-atom catalysts and their electrocatalytic applications such as electrocatalytic oxygen reduction, electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution together with electrocatalytic CO2 reduction.Current challenges and future prospects for the development of p-block single-atom catalysts have also been provided.
