Borane-catalysed dinitrogen borylation by 1,3-B–H bond addition

1,3-B–H addition of various boranes over a W–NN motif has been explored to probe its scope and limitations as a method for N₂ borylation. The reaction can be catalysed or not, and boranes that undergo retrohydroboration react as monoalkylboranes.
