Organic Electrochemical Transistors Among other merits, the ability of organic electrochemical transistors to form an intimate interface with a biological environment, enabling efficient ion-to-electron transduction, makes them particularly desirable for operation within a living organism (in vivo). In article number 2101874, Ali Nawaz, Prashant Sonar, and co-workers comprehensively review the wide range of in vivo bioelectronic applications that have been addressed for organic electrochemical transistor technology and discuss the future challenges in the field.
