Enhancing the Magnetic Heating Capacity of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles through Their Postproduction Incorporation into Iron Oxide–Gold Nanocomposites

Abstract Invited for the cover of this issue is the group of Ivan P. Parkin and Quentin A. Pankhurst from University College London, UK, in collaboration with Malini Olivo from A*STAR Singapore Bioimaging Consortium. The cover image shows how nanocomposite particles heat up as a result of magnetic hyperthermia when an external magnetic field is applied.
