A niobium phosphate with a nasicon structure: Na0.5Nb2(PO4)3

A new niobium phosphate Na0.5Nb2P3O12, with the Nasicon structure has been isolated. The structure of this oxide has been determined from a X-ray diffraction study on single crystal and compared to that of the empty Nasicon, Nb2P3O12 recently determined (14).
