摘要
Abstract The initiation causes of ethylene decomposition are discussed and models presented to help anticipate and prevent decomposition. Thermal runaway, catalysis, influence of gas contaminants, adsorption heating, compression ignition and direct ignition are addressed. The effects of decomposition are described in terms of pressure and propagation.
