摘要
Zeolite imidazole framework-8 (ZIF-8) is a prestigious and represented subclass of metal organic framework materials (MOFs), which has been extensively investigated for adsorption, biosensing, catalysis, hydrogen storage applications. In recent years, exploring synthesis methods, properties and controlling roles of synthetic parameters of ZIF-8 has attracted wide attentions of researchers. The mini review aims to cover the reported synthesis methods, thermal and chemical stability, molecular sieving, and the relationships of features and synthetic parameters including zinc source, solvent, surfactant, temperature and ratio of zinc and 2-methylimidazole (mIm) ligand. The brief review will provide the guidance to enhance the features and to design and synthesize new ZIFs base on the ZIF-8.
