Tomás J. Madera-Santana, Yolanda Freile-Pelegrín, José C. Encinas, Carlos R. Ríos-Soberanis, and Patricia Quintana-Owen fabricate a biocomposite based on poly(lactic acid) and seaweed residues from agar extraction. The agroindustrial wastes are a source of raw materials to produce biocomposites for potential applications in different industries such as automotive, construction, and rigid packaging. The cover shows the cryogenical fracture of the biocomposites fabricated with seaweed residue. (DOI: 10.1002/app.42320) Volume132, Issue32August 20, 2015 RelatedInformation
