A Survey of Deep Learning Based Object Detection

Object detection based on deep learning has become one of the most widely used and popular research topics in the field of computer vision. This paper firstly reviews the development of target detection technology and analyzes and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of traditional target detection methods. Then, several target detection technologies based on deep learning and their advantages and disadvantages are introduced in detail. Finally, the possible future development of object detection is discussed.
