摘要
Frequency doubling: A strategy for incorporating dipolar organic chromophores into the one-dimensional channels of an anionic metal–organic framework (MOF) has been developed to generate highly active nonlinear optical materials (see picture). The resulting MOF material shows a second-harmonic generation intensity of 18.3 versus α quartz. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as "Supporting Information".
