Disscussion of Problems about Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water by Nessler′s Reagent Spectrophotometry

In this paper,several experiments were conducted about blank,reagents and methods during the course of determination of ammonia nitrogen in water.They illustrated that different experimental water had no influence on the blank value.The methods for confected reagents and retreated samples had significant influence on the results.The dosage of sodium hydroxide for neutralizing boracic acid after samples were distilled related to the concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and sample volume.
