Fluorescent wood sponge toward selective detection and efficient removal of Cr(vi)

A novel fluorescent wood sponge was constructed combining hierarchical porous wood sponge and carbon dots via chemical bonding, which could simultaneously detect and remove hexavalent Cr( vi ) in an aqueous medium.
