Cross-coupling reactions for environmentally benign synthesis

Advances reported in the past two decades (1996–2021) in the field of heterogeneous catalytic cross-coupling reactions have been reviewed. Due to its practical importance cross-coupling reactions remained a major contributor to synthetic, process, industrial, medicinal, and green chemistry. The application of heterogeneous catalysts in these transformations is becoming a common tool in the development of environmentally benign processes.
