Lung cancer is currently the malignant tumor with the highest incidence in the world.Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is a RNA transcript with a length more than 200 nucleotides and no protein-coding potential.lncRNA H19, the first identified lncRNA, plays an important regulatory role in tumor proliferation, invasion, and metastasis. This review introduces the biological characteristics of lncRNA H19 and its role in tumors, especially its role and molecular mechanism in lung cancer.
