Sarcopenia and cognitive impairment

Peng and colleagues performed a systematic review to address the association between sarcopenia and cognitive impairment [1]. They concluded that sarcopenia is associated with an increased risk of cognitive impairment independent of study population, or the definition of sarcopenia and cognitive impairment [1]. The findings are interesting, while a hypothesis is lacking for this study.
